Yukihito Taguchi-USA TODAY Sports

Despite being 39 and 36 years old respectively, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have shown no signs of slowing down. As supporters run out of superlatives to describe their might, Ronaldo gave his fans yet another reason to cheer for him. 11 goals in his last 7 games, scoring 3 hat-tricks in the process called for a meltdown on social media.

His most recent hat-trick came on Saturday night as the Al-Nassr captain helped his side to a 6-0 win over Al-Wehda in the Saudi Pro League. Ronaldo’s first goal came in the 5th minute of the game, when the opposition keeper’s clearance fell invitingly to the forward. Despite an untimely slip, his shot managed to find its way into the Al-Wehda net.

7 minutes later, the forward did what he does best as he guided the ball into the net with his head, jumping over two of his markers at the far post. Ronaldo completed his hat-trick in the 52nd minute, when Sadio Mane played him through on goal behind the opposition defense.

His blistering finish gave Munir Mohamedi no chance to get his hand on the shot as Ronaldo registered a record 66th career hat-trick!

Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane shine as Al-Nassr thrash opposition 6-0!

Cristiano Ronaldo‘s blistering form was on display as Al-Nassr won their 8th game in the last 10 outings. Days after scoring a brace against Al-Khaleej, Ronaldo went one step ahead to grab a hat-trick against Al-Wehda. Sadio Mane was in the mood too, as he contributed both with goals and assists.

His two assists and a goal meant that the forward continued his four-game goal scoring streak for Al-Nassr. One of his two assists came for Ronaldo, as the Portuguese forward completed his hat-trick against the Saudi Pro League opposition. The other presented itself in the form of a brilliant long pass to Otavio, who made no mistake to loft the ball over Mohamedi to make it 3-0.

Mane finally got on the scoresheet in the 45th minute, when Otavio returned the favor. Mane had all to do when several Al-Wehda defenders blocked his way to goal.

However, the crowd was treated a sublime solo goal as Mane weaved his way past the opposition backline. As it stands, Al-Nassr are 9 points behind Al-Hilal despite having played a game more.
