After being pulled over, Brown swiftly told the officer, “Sorry, I was on my way to football practice, sir.”

However, things quickly escalated as the officer yelled back at Brown, “Get out of the car right now,” followed by, “The hell you going that fast for.”

To that, the Cardinals told the police, “I’m new here, sir.”

This incident occurred on Loop 101 in North Phoenix at around 7:05 a.m. Brown was recorded going 126 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.

As a result, Brown was fined $473. A statement was also released about a month later.

“Just learn from it, you know, I’m not a guy to get into trouble. So I’ll just put it in my past and make sure I’m always doing the right things at all right times.”
