• An Idea For More Breast Cancer Awareness Help Through Sports

  I was watching a Redskins game a couple weeks ago and my daughter asked me why the players were wearing pink? So I explained to her that it was for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and then I returned to watching the game. A little later she returned and told me she had an idea that the NFL should use a pink footballas part of their awareness campaign and I laughed it off and told her it wasn’t possible and went back to my game. Somewhere along the way it got me thinking that maybe this isn’t such a bad idea and could actually be used by not only the NFL, but other sports leagues as well. One thought I had was that if the NFL did use pink balls then they could auction them off and donate the proceeds to Breast Cancer Research and Awareness programs.

• Brett Favre Is Going To Play

  Big News Flash!Brett Favre Is Returning To Play! There is a press conference to announce his return to play QB for the Minnesota Vikings later today. Why is there going to be a press conference at all? I'm a little confused, please clue me in? I thought you had one when someone is retiring or to announce the drafting/signing of a new player, but having one to announce a player who is under contract and played for your team last season is where I get lost. The only thing I can think of is that Brett wasn't going to let Lebron's castration of the Cleveland Cavaliers on live tv hijack his annual summer spotlight. That Brett Favre is such a competitor! Welcome back Brett!
